    What a career booster it would be for yao if China could some how upset the USA team. I don't know who has seen him play with team china but it's almost like he's a different person over there. Dunks over opponent's heads, screams, yells,shows attitude, and just about everything people want to see him do for the rockets. I just hope i'm in front on the TV when this game is on.

    I wonder if Emeka Okafor and Ike Diogu will be playing for Nigeria.

    I think China will finish last in Group D. Sad! :(

    judging from historical results, China should be able to beat senegal unless that team has really been improved.

    other than that, it probably would have some tough competitions ahead of them...

    Group B seem by far the weakest group.

    Japan is the host country and they dont want lose all games.

    So they pick the only team they probably can beat: Panama.

    It's not just Panama. IIRC, Angola has never won a basketball game in the World Championship and New Zealand a while back couldn't beat the CNT without Yao. Spain and Germany are at best second rate. And Japan, well, it's Japan.
