Anyone but Yao, T-Mac, and Head...
I already know we aren't getting rid of Alson either. Head will learn best behind Alston and Artest (what a backcourt  ). We can keep Baxter and piece the rest with CBA and NBDL players. I would even bring in Spanoulis and finally give him a shot.

I vote "Other" which would be anybody but Yao, McGrady, Swift, Head ...
and I would really like it if we could hang onto John Lucas III for future development.

I would give up anything but TMac and Yao to get Artest I think. But I'd try really, really hard to hold onto Head.

But if he's the deal-breaker, see ya later.

We don't need another Rod Rhodes debacle.

A 3 way with Swift and Head going to Atlanta, Harrington to the Pacers, and Artest to Houston makes so much sense for all parties involved that its scary.

It does seem to make sense... though I do wonder if the Hawks would think they could do better for Harrington. I'm not sure on that, but he is averaging 19 and 7+ with a strong percentage this year.

If Artest had his head screwed on even remotely straight I'd be drooling at this moment ... his thievery work is outstanding. A true shutdown defender. His offense is just a bonus ... his defense could have an energizer effect on the entire team, like a Rodman.

But then if he was of a more clear mind, the Pacers wouldn't be dealing him then.

Even if the 1st round pick is given up it is no big deal 'cause if Ron Artest were in the draft this year he would certainly be a top 5 pick

I would say something like: Artest and Croshere for Wesley, Swift and a pick...

    i picked "Head + Howard + Wesley + 2006 Unprotected 1st"
because i think rafer, once given the chance to gel with a healthy yao and tmac, will blossum and pay dividends for us, as will swift. the big 2 and alston are the only absolute untouchables, although personally i would hate to trade swift too.

head is a nice player but not a dealbreaker.

simply put, anyone over age 30 is fair game!!!

I said SWift,Head and WEsley I'd give up to get ARtest because both teams would be getting good returns on this deal. IN Houston's case its because Artest can score on his own and play good lockdown defense on opposing 2 gards and SF's. THe pacers would get a 3 ball shooter in Wesley and Head which fits right in to what Carlyle likes to run and another athletic body to throw up against the Pistons tto gaurd Ben and Rasweed WAllace come playoff time. Its a solid deal on both ends I say approch them and see what they say. Go Rockets!!!

i picked Head + Howard + Wesley + 2006 Unprotected 1st because i don't care how much of a professional and nice guy juwan is, he's cursed.

i think swift would be a better fit on the front line with artest and yao.

    i like this lineup:

    rafer
    mac
    artest
    swift
    yao

    much better than:

    rafer
    mac
    artest
    juwan
    yao

At this moment, I value the 1st round pick as much as, if not more than, Head. It seems almost certain, especially if we purposely tank the season, that the pick will be a top 5. You can always pick a talent of Head's caliber or better with a top 5 pick. I am not familiar with the poll yet, but if there is someone like Chris Paul out there, I say let's tank the season and get him.
