Yao is good enough, he has all the skills, his problems can't be 'taugh away', they're precisely him being 7'6" and his slow reaction. Stro, on the other end, I do agree is a 'raw' talent, and the window of opportunity for him to actually learn the basic fundamentals of the big man game (i.e. footwork, recognition, timing, outlet pass, hook shot, etc.) is rapidly closing. I really do think Stro has been a victim of a lack of mentor, a lack of someone who will spend an entire off-season with him to teach him the big man game. On the other hand, he had intensity problems in the past, but I really do think he's trying hard this season, I see effort and hustle from him every night. True, he's not a particularly 'bright' guy, but I do think he can learn a few things, and with repetition they will be stuck in his head and will become a habit. But again, who's going to mentor this guy one-on-one and invest the time/effort in him? Does this organization have anyone to do that? Is he worth this kind of personal attention? We will see...
