I was searching for a reliable and free software to convert video files for my ipod, then I came acroos ipodlinux, http://reviews.cnet.com/4520-10163_7-6279061-6.html?tag=viddet, which enables your pre-5thG ipod to play video and much more. That sounds like a very cool idea. Has anyone used that before? Maybe I should hack my 5thG and make it do more, like supporting other video encodings with ipodlinux!!!!
Here is a Linux run iPod Nano playing video... http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-6974467646937874348&q=nano
Can someone lead me to software that is free on the net that converts DVDs, MPEG, WMV, etc. that doesn't have a trial time limit or watermark on the video?
