Hey if SINA reported that yao was doing light workouts and might come back earlier than expected before any other site, then i don't see no problem with posting articiles from that site. I'm sure their insider's source is just as credible as any another so-called insider reports here in america.

I don't think most of you are being fair to Sina, after all they were the ones who broke the story on Sura's fainting spells.

Another SINA insider story about Rudy T on Kobe vs. TMAC, dated on 01/06/06.

    http://sports.sina.com.cn/k/2006-01-06/15431976840.shtml

    Here is the translation.

Rudy T made a comment on Kobs vs. T-mac in a recent private talk.
He said:" they are alike. Both are superscorer, though they use
different ways. But they are different types after a closer
look. In terms of player's personality (I was his coach), kobe is
way better than T-mac in passion for b-ball and desire for win.
I can't deny that kobe is a little hard to get along with, but he
absolutely concentrates on games. This may be the reason why he is
    better.

IMO, Mike James and McGrady looked to be really good friends. If you just look at the two after a game or before a game you, I can just feel that vibe that the two have a good relationship and respect for one another. Just the little things like hanging out during the game and after the game such as the Hurricane Relief game, and right after the game in Toronto they seem to hug each other rather than just regular old friends.. more like life-long buddies but no doubt in my mind this has got to be old fashion entertainment from sina.com

That's WHY I said.....exercise your judgement and common sense to decide whether the article contains genuine and correct information.

Did you guys ever see me translating stupid BS or speculative rumours on sina.com ??

wasnt SINA the one who correctly reported yao being back earlier than expected before anyone else? i guess when it comes to sina articles it depends on whoever decides to translate it.

LOL...I don't mean to discredit the translator but you raised an interesting point...I guess it'd be fun to make something up then sit back and watch everyone here going ape over it for a few days...just joking... :p

Well, Mike James was backing up whatever trash he was talking that night. That was Howard trying to act like a basketball player. James has certainly been on fire in the 2 games against the Rockets, that's for sure. Alston has finally started coming on so the trade doesn't look as bad as it did earlier but they certainly miss his scoring. If TMac pushed to have him traded, then TMac has to bear some of the blame for this team being offensively challenged. The bad news is that it's January and they have only won 12 games. That's really what Juwan should have been mad about instead of playing ball thug for TMac.
