Doug keeps saying Indiana will struggle to hit 90 and here they are sitting at 56 points at halftime. I bet they hit 100. GS not playing a lick of defense. What game do these guys watch anyways?

Charles barking about how bad the Rockets are. No mention of injuries or anything. I wonder if Charles or Kenny will pick us for the playoffs?

    Doug knows his $hit.

And Charles is a hater and Kenny is a Benedict Arnold.

Barkley has his head up his a$$.

It's a large skull, so only a man with a prodigious culo could manage this feat.

You listen to him talk and you realize that he's just stubborn. Stubborn as hell.

Sometimes he and Kenny are dead on with their analyses, but many times, Charles' opinions will have no basis in reality.

Part of why Charles never mentions the Rockets' injuries is because he has, does, and will always hate Yao Ming. It's almost pathological. Remember the 2002 draft? He and Kenny kept hating on all the foreign players entering the draft. And Yao was #1 and therefore #1 in their line of fire.

As a foreigner, Yao is never gonna be one of Charles' buddies; so Charles really won't have much use for him.

Not to mention Charles came to Houston for a ring and didn't get one. Maybe there's some bitterness? Who knows.

It does get tiresome because Charles and Kenny and Ernie and Guest Host can be pretty entertaining. But Houston will only get some love IF they start winning, and THEN it will be the most left-handed begrudging of compliments.

When you are on national TV the broadcasters know absolutly nothing about the inner workings of your team. THe national TV people only study the teams like the Spurs,PIstons,Lakers,Suns and maybe the Mavs since Cuban seems to be Sterns boy after sending in those tapes after game 2 worked in his favor. Man I hate STERN. Go Rockets!!!

Whenever I see Charles open his mouth I'm reminded of how much I hated him when he played for Phoenix.

His opinions on Yao are hilarious.

2002: Yao will never score 19 points in a game.
    2005: Yao's a disappointment because he doesn't score 30 points and 15 rebounds a game.

Stephen A. Smith is even worse.

Kenny Smith will never hate the Rockets as bad as I hated him in 1996. He contributed nothing to our team in '96.

Charles choked in Phoenix when they had us on the ropes. He had a better team and could not beat us.

I enjoy their commentary on TNT-even though there are these problems:

    1) With Charles- I wonder if he even watches the games sometimes??--I like the humor and opinion, but he owes the viewer better analysis.

    2) With Kenny - I have never heard such convoluted metaphor. His analysis is sometimes adequate, but his strange comparisons - like " a veteran player eating soup with a fork"-What in the hell does this mean???

Kenny was a streaky player who contributed in '93 -'94, but he is one lucky player to have 2 rings courtesy of Hakeem and Rudy......

I think one reason why Chuck is so hard on us is because Les lowballed him the year after we had Pippen. I can't remember what interview it was, but Charles said that he took a $5 million paycut to sign Pippen, but Les promised him $12 or $13 million the following year. Later, they told him that they would only pay him $8 million. He said that the situation caused him to lose motivation, and that he now regrets letting himself go.
