I'd be cool with that trade. You get a second receiver in Williams to abck-up Andre, and you get rid of Carr.
According to whom? You? And your sip buddies? Be logical...............sorry I forgot......nevermind.
Ah, now it all makes sense. FWIW, I'm a huge Longhorn fan and I still want us to take Bush. But you're completely dismissing the amazing performance he had last night, not to mention the unprecedented season he had as an NCAA QB.
C'mon. Carr sucks. Everyone knows it. I'd take the risk of drafting Vince Young over keeping David Carr. I don't know why he isn't compared to Joey Harrington more often. Their both busts.
Not at all. It was an incredible performance, and I said earlier in a post that he's the most ellusive college player ever. I just don't think that he's gonna be a great NFL QB. But on top of that I don't think that QB is our biggest need right now. FWIW Young had one of the best I've ever seen.
Well neither is Running Back, but we're still gonna draft Reggie Bush (if Young doesn't declare). These are play makers with special talents; Carr has shown me nothing.
Bush is a play maker all over the field, RB or WR. Scouts love the way he runs routes. Plus he provides a mismatch for LB when he comes out of the backfield due to his speed.
I know, and he and Vince are special players. Carr is NOTHING special. The best he'll ever in an average QB. He doesn't stand out like Young does.
It's not like if we trade Carr we're gonna be in re-build mode; we were 2-14. You can just go ahead and start over with Young. Carr just didn't cut it.
a. Carr didn't look this good at FRESNO b. I do not beleive you are being factual . . . Carr is what he is My Ideal We can maybe switch picks with someone 1-3 Say to the Titans #3. . .Carr + Bush#1 for Young+2nd rounder and 1st rounder next year Rocket River
funny thing Bush made his 500+ yards against a scrub team and he won the heisman behind it Young going 200+/250+ on the VAUNTED USC did the same thing . .. only better Rocket River
