Im still up for playing if anyone else is up for it....since biggie cant make it out maybe he can give us the code so we all can shake off the rust we cleary showed.
I think i can make it on Thursday. I got alot of work to finish up at work and i know i will have to stay till 7:00. So i think i can showup at around 7:30
good game yesterday fellas. hope that i'm stepping on anyone's feet, but no one played particularly well yesterday, but the good thing is that we played (i think) the worst that we could and still pulled it out. that last play really was weird. credit for the block should definitely go to yaowink though. i'm thinking about coming out on thursday, so if anyone could post directions it would be helpful. since everybody is throwing out apologies left and right... sorry for looking lost on the court most of the time. again, it's the "not having played organized ball" thing. not sure really what to do. i'll just stick to the "ryan bowen" type role and try and keep up.
I definently don't think your stepping on anyones feet with those comments...they are very true for everyone. We all had an off game and we still managed to pull out the victory. Just imagine the score if we had hit a few of the outside shots we took. I think the only people that had a consitant game was Yao and Josh. They definently still had there games while the rest of us were kind of out of it. Even Yao had a few shots that he normally makes not go in. It was definently good to get the rust out and im sure we will be fine next game.
if we get enough people to play somewhere and biggie gives us the code then I can send you the map I sent to everyone else before...I dont think they had a problem getting there. I guess I can start a list of whos available to play... rushour rocketfire omega macalu
I'll take that one (even though you would have blocked him if I didn't get in the way). But Omega had the best clutch block of the game with his OT defense against his defender. Being able to block your own man's shot in an isolation situation was huge. Not sure which overtime it was in or what the score was at the time, but that was a game changer!
I think the stats that Clutch has are going to be off until i get him the highlights. I am trying to locate my firewire cable so i can get the file onto my computer. Hopefully ill find it by tomorrow.
Yeah, these stats I have are basically useless. I think the fact that it was a close game made it extra hard to be accurate. I hadn't even considered posting anything until I got the video. Hope you find that cable soon.
i was doing most of the stat taking. my bad. just thinking about x as being a missed shot, while o as being a made shot is just, i don't know, consuminv/overwhelming?
Yeah, I wish there was an easier way to do it. It's one of those things that seems easy enough, but once the game starts and stuff is constantly happening, you can kind of get swamped. It's ok though because we should have the tape soon enough and it doesn't lie! Thanks for trying though man, I know it's a b****.
My class is over at 7pm so we may get together for ball. They changed the code on the door as they do on a regular basis, so I'll have to ask someone there for the code again. I'll keep you guys posted with more information as the day progresses. Probably start at 8pm if anything goes down.
Yeah I don't think anyone went. I can almost gaurantee that I wasn't there Speaking of absence, where's the video of the game, Stack? Also, I finally got my camcorder and a firewire card and firewire cable and all that junk and it's all set up so next week we can use mine and I should be able to do stats and upload the game as soon as I'm home (and after a shower of course).
I was really busy the past 2 days at work. Tuesday - Championship game Wednesday - Biggio was the guest on the Radio show so was really hectic for the past 2 days. I wasn't able to find the firewire cable for my camcorder. If there is any way i can give you the tape i will do that. The only other thing i am going to do is check out my study cause i saw the USB cable for it. It will take a bit longer to get it out of the tape but i can still get it on there. Ill have more info on that by tomorrow. Sorry guys.
Roll call for Tuesday: Clutch Josh Also, I will have my camera there for this game so I can take it straight home and do stats. Stack, just bring the tape from the last game and I can do that one too. I figure we'll be all caught up by Wednesday night or so. Your camera is a MiniDV, right?
