The deal would have to be Rafer, Wesley, Head, and 1st rounder. Even then, I'd be surprised that the Kings would move Bibby. It's hard to find a guy like that who knows when to pass, knows when to shoot, and is very good at both. His age is good too.

Same here. Any of them would help our club out a lot. I would be willing to give up anyone not named Yao or Tracy to get them.

I rather have Juwan Howard than Peja. What does that guy do but jack up shots and whine?

The Kings are the right team to target for trades. They are having a terrible season, a loaded payroll that they might want to reduce and some contracts they probably would like to move (like Kenny Thomas, Skinner, Corliss).

You would think any trade of Bibby or Peja would give them a pick in return and some young talent and then the Kings take back an expiring contract.

I suppose we could offer Wesley+Moochie contracts and then Head and a #1 pick for Bibby.

Clearly Bibby would represent alot to the Rockets in terms of being a PG, a shooter and someone that can be our "3rd scorer". Bibby makes a lot of money but if the Rockets want to take it to the next level, Les is going to have to pay for it.

I'm glad someone else is being realistic. Someone tried asking about Bibby in another thread and I said the same thing. There is NO WAY the Kings are trading Bibby. He's be the clutch guy in the playoffs for them, and the only solid person most nights. He was the most underrated PG in the game 2 years again, and probably is still underrated now. Kings would be more likely to Peja than Bibby, for obvious reasons, but don't think a bad season and a high payroll will call for them shipping out Bibby. Bibby is either the first or second untouchable on that team.

I could be wrong, and I hope I am! And if so, feel free to blast me later. But I still say there is NO WAY Bibby is leaving Sacto!

Why would you trade away one of the best point guards in the league?

Don't see it happening but it would be nice if we didn't have to give up Head.

The Kings' payroll is at about $61,000,000 or so. That's not grotesque for an arena that generally sells out consistently.

If Sacramento wants to blow it up, or deal Peja and/or other high-priced talent (Bibby's making $11.5 this year; my source is Hoopshype, but at least it isn't Hoopsworld), then that would be news indeed.

But somehow for them a promising year has gone downhill as quickly as our own. Again, they either have to blow it up or make trades that will give them a chance to be in the running this year or, at latest, next year.

Rebuilding is a long process. I'd love to get Bibby; but I won't get my hopes up.

I agree that this sounds ridiculous. But on the same token, why would a poster on here start a thread on something random like this?

I'm not saying he is credible (who knows), but I AM saying you could also give some benefit of the doubt here because I don't think someone would just make this up out of thin air.

Sacto's season is gone. They could be looking for a big offseason and a lot of changes. Bibby leaving seems quite possible. He is very attractive and the kings seriously need changes.

If it happens, it needs to happen fast, the rockets are 8 games under 500. We are about to fall out of playoff hopes.

It is the best time in this forum to spread rumors. The good side is they make many depressed fans excited for a while, which is good.

CD, please make it happen ASAP.

We can still get into the playoffs with this trade.

If I' am the Kings, Peja would be the first one to go. Bibby is a type of player that can help in the re-building process.
