    Hey guys...my buddy in the austin DA's office told me that ramonce taylor and cedric griffin will be charged with their crimes, but that it will not hapen until the rose bowl is over so that they can play in the game...hmmm

    All reports say that no charges will be filed, and I don't think any city/government would wait til' after a game to file charges if they were planning on it.

    I believe the thread starter's point is that his information is superior to what has been reported by the press.

    This situation, if true, is not without precedent. In 2003, Texas 2nd baseman Tim Moss' trial for assault and evading arrest was delayed until after the college world series. In an ironic twist of fate, Moss would wind up making a crucial error in the 9th inning in a dramatic loss to the team that would go on to win it all -- the Rice Owls.
