265/70-16 - 2002 Toyota 4-Runner SR5 2WD Well, it's time to bury the old tires because they're shot to hell. I got some recommendations/prices from Discount Tire, but I thought I would consult to see which would be the best to get. Where's the best place I can get quality + price on tires? What's the best brand to get?
I've always had great luck with BRIDGESTONE on my trucks they're made by firestone.. one set I had almost 90,000 miles on I know it sounds crazy, but they wore like iron..
Discount Tire has a Kelly-Springfield called the Pathfinder. Great truck tires, look good, don't wear easily. My old man's gone through about a dozen sets or so, and he swears by them. They're about $125ish with warranty.
Yeah, Discount Tire recommended me 3 Pathfinder types for my SUV. Pathfinder Trail A/P - $481.32 - discounted tires if they wear down, $540.52 - complete replacement coverage Pathfinder Sport SUV - $507.32, $568.52 Pathfinder Luxury - $550.60, $615.80 I'm clueless when it comes to brand and pricing on tires.
Michelin Cross Terrains They cost a little more but they ride real good. http://www.epinions.com/Michelin_Cross_Terrain_SUV_Truck_SUV_Tire/display_~reviews
I've got four of those on order for my wife's SUV to be installed on Saturday. A bit more expensive, but if you compare the survey results on tirerack.com, they are WAY highly rated. A couple hundred bucks extra for the four of them? She's worth it (though she may have to do without a new pair of shoes this month )
Firestone makes nice rolling tires, i'm pretty sure u could make a few dollars off of permanent disability. Sweet, I just made a boatload of cash rollin over in a explorer 500 times. Thanks Jim Adler, the Texas hammer/tough smart lawyer. P.S. Call Christian Hill
Once you agree on a make, check out Sam's club as they are typically cheaper, however, I don't know about the on-line places... We need to meet up for a Rox game the first of the year...
