What's the matter? Poooooor Batman isn't able to defend himself after all of his arguments are shot down? Pooooor liberals.

(maybe a little 'after 2:00am' courage will bring him back to defend himself.... let's hope!)

Oh, what the hell. I don't have anything better to do. This next quote is from my first response to your poll. I haven't shifted gears at all. My argument now was my argument then was my argument the day the story broke. Read it again.

So you see my position hasn't changed. What about yours? Do you still say NSA didn't go after warrants because they'd have to serve them to the suspects and blow the operation? Or were you wanting to flip flop on that?

Who do you think wants to hinder the monitoring of al Qaeda? Do you think I want that? Do you think Democrats want that? Are you insane?

There's no hindrance in working inside the system unless you're doing something that wouldn't be approved by the courts. Since NSA hasn't given any other reason for not pursuing warrants (and you're right -- they are easy to get), maybe that's something to pursue. That's why we require the courts to issue the warrants -- to provide that our government doesn't do things it shouldn't.

I LOVE that you're pitching the idea that they didn't get warrants because the warrants were too easy to get now. That is awesome. One day soon you're going to realize this is only about and has only been about the warrants. And you are going to feel very, very embarassed.

Can we have a Classic Moments for the D&D?

Did you just now discover that? That point has been absolutely beaten to death in FAVOR of our argument - that asking for the warrants is in NO WAY a hindrance because they are ALWAYS granted and even after the fact! The whole point all along is that they didn't get the warrants! Why did the Administration feel the need to conduct something if the entire process was so blatantly conducive to aiding in the operation? LOL!

This is absolutely unreal. Please, keep talking. It keeps getting better.

    1. They are spying on us! It's Hitler/Stalin/Big Brother all over again! The Constitution has been thrown in the toilet!
    2. They are spying on US citizens!
    3. Osama is winning!
    4. They don't have warrants!
    5. This has always been about the warrants!

Yes, very consistent. Just like your man John Kerry!

Your whole argument was based on getting the warrants. Then you found out the warrants were a rubber stamp. Oops! Your argument was exposed to be a fraud. It's amazing you are still here pushing this mockery of yourself to the top! Thanks, though.

Now that would be a great idea! Would this quote make it?

TJ: So did you think when a suspect was "served" with the warrant, an agent showed up on his doorstep or was he mailed a notification? LOL!

This is what the liberals are reduced to in this thread. All 5 of them are hoping to find just a single inconsistency in my argument. It's laughable that even with 5 on 1, that this is the best they can do. Obviously I didn't think that we'd be serving a warrant to an al Qaeda operative in the mountains of Pakistan. Is that what you were hoping? Please. How desperate are you? That said, In cases of domestic monitoring, there are quite a few liberals that WOULD like to see warrants served. The Patriot Act debate put forth by the liberals is evidence of that.

NSA has determined the warrant attainment process to be a useless endeavor, which likely hinders their monitoring of al Qaeda. Can any liberal speak to this? Batman refuses to. There's a reason for that...

So this is what it's come to. It's sad. I hate to admit defeat, but I'll try to be the bigger man.

As anyone reading this thread can see, Jorge has actually topped every other embarassment he's previously brought upon himself. And regular readers know that really is something. He had a nice moment with the crybaby pic. That stung. And later he predicted I'd post after two a.m. which our regular readers will recognize as a swipe at my drinking habits. (Jorge and his brother are famous for winning arguments with me by accusing me of being drunk.) A couple oldies but goodies, but I took the best he had, valiantly struggling on in the name of truth, justice and, most of all, the American way. And I mean to tell you, Jorge wasn't just on the ropes -- he was bleeding out. But then...

Oh, it hurts just to talk about.

But then... at the last possible moment... I was OWNED. Yes, friends. I admit it. I was OWNED right here on clutchfans.net by Trader_Jorge. And not just Jorge, but I daresay truly the most ashamed and embarassed Jorge we have known on this board. But he got me and I have to face the music.

I, Batman Jones, did actually post news of the exit polls predicting a Kerry win in 2004. I admit it. And, as such, I hereby lose every argument before it begins. But at least my conscience is finally clear.

By all means, if you'll include a link to the thread. In fact, that's a capital idea.

First, I'd love a link that shows the NSA has determined the process of obtaining warrants to be "useless." The reason I don't tell you their reasons for wanting to sidestep judicial oversight is because I don't read minds and I'm not a conspiracy theorist. It is an excellent question though and one I hope we get to hear answered under oath.

"Any time you hear the United States government talking about wiretap, it requires -- a wiretap requires a court order," George W. Bush, April 20, 2004 in Buffalo, New York.

why are you always in a hurry in calling OWNED? because you're afraid to get embarassed? is this a game? SHOTGUN!

again, do you think that warrants are actually going to be served to the suspected terrorists?

also, did you think people's complaints have nothing to do with warrants/court orders?
