Considering the average MLS attendance is over 15000, twice as much as the WNBA, you're pretty ignorant to even ask the question. BTW, MLS is no longer "minor league soccer," the league has improved by leaps and bounds over the last few years, as can be seen when MLS teams have played very competitive matches against the best European squads in the last year. Europeans were extremely surprised to see the caliber of our teams.
Hey Furios, Stop being so bitter about soccer. It has reached new levels in this country over the last 10 years. If you have not noticed the US National Team is ranked by FIFA as the 8th best team in the world, and the team consists mostly of MLS players. Im glad to be the one to tell you to wake up, and start enjoying a league that is creeping up on the rest of the world. When the US goes deep into the World Cup I dont want to see you jumping on the bandwagon then. Get on board now and save yourself some dignity!
I just hope they make the tickets affordable for the hispanic population in Houston...considering you would have to purchase tickets for Mom, Dad, 12 borthers and sisters, a bunch of aunts and uncles and don't forget about the grandparents and in-laws!
Wow, now I am excited to root for a team that has a few players from the 8th best team in the world! If the US ever gets into the World Cup, that'll just give everyone in the world one more reason to hate us. I care as much about the World Cup as the Olympics, which is zero.
