As things stand today, the Houston Rockets are 3 games behind Golden State for the eighth playoff spot. Would a McGrady-Artest duo at least provide enough spark to tread water until Yao returns and a serious run is made?

Would a Stromile+Whoever package be enough to get Artest?

How would McGrady/Yao/Artest look for the playoffs?

Dallas seemingly has passed on Artest, but I know they fear something similar to the above scenario.

We have absolutely nothing to offer Pacers for Artest. Why would they need Swift when they already have Oneal? Other teams has better offers for Artest like Clippers might offer Maggette, or Atlanta might offer Harrington.

    Trade not happening.

btw, re: hawks. one rumour is they don't want artest, instead they're after a big man, but are willing to deal harrington.

A Ron Artest who has received the proper treatment from a mental hospital is what the doctor ordered for this team.

    alright... check this out.

here's my case to be an NBA GM right here.

DA + RA + Sura (already you've got a good start since all three end with A) + Yao + Mutombo.

the good news? they'll never even be able to use these players for weeks or months!

so we come out like bandits with artest and indiana gets some welcome additions to bolster it's bench.

yeah sure indiana is over the roster limit with this trade, my solution? throw in half the pacer's bench then.

it doesn't matter, select players with last names A-M or something like that.

To simply throw up our hands and say we have nutin 2 offer is uncreative. What's wrong with a 3-way? Stromile should fit somewhere!

Earn ur GM money, guys & gals!

Hey! Cassius! I was a 16yr old in church the first time I heard u "whupped" Sonny. Boxing is "unchristian", but one of the church boys was listenin' on his car radio. He came into the church tellin' us all that Cassius had won. We couldn't believe it. Beat Big Bad Sonny?

It looks like Indiana is having trouble moving Artest. I think CD should monitor the situation, stay in touch Indiana and Artest's agent, and see if on opportunity developes. Luther, a number one pick, and Wesley or Howard for Artest.
