Since Yao is out, the team needs to find someone who can compliment McGrady.

Let's start Stephen Graham at the 2 guard spot and Mcgrady at SF.

    PG - Wesley
    SG - Graham
    SF - Mcgrady
    PF - Howard
C - Swift - until Mutombo gets back.

At least put the most athletic team out there.....Ryan Bowen hustles, but man, he just can't play offense..

    Let's give Graham a look....

    Who is with me?

I am with you. JVG needs to change up the lineup. At least try something new.

I liked the little of what we saw today of Graham. He was very agressive on offense and shot looks nice. He is also built like a rock.

Either start Graham, or start Head, and let Graham play more minutes.

The thing I don't get is that JVG knows Bowen is horrible on offense because he always takes him out after 5 minutes untill the game and we are usually down like 6 points already.

What a great idea! Let's tank the season less than 22 games into it for an inknown commodity! Not smart.

what's "not smart" is giving bowen so many minutes. you want unknown, try predicting bowen's impact on any given night. i'm all for giving graham a chance.

I am all for it. Stephen Graham looked pretty good tonight for his first real game. He just needs little more time to get confident. Baxter is performing better than Stro already. At least for this game.

Hope both Graham and Baxter can seize this opportunity and play themselves into regular rotation.

So this genius rookie Graham can learn JVG's defense and offense scheme in about 1 week and start for the team? I don't think so.

Letting opponent shoot 48+% FG will almost always kill you. Even if T-Mac scored only 7 points but he also had 11 assist with 2 TO. 81 points for a JVG's team is not a too shabby offensive game. But JVG will not allow 94 opponent points.

Starting Head of course is the right move. Head will keep the game close the 1st half and T-mac can take over the 4th quarter. And Head will always have more energy than our other old legs.

Bowen helps you win one game then lose 3 games if you make him a key rotation regular.

Accelerate the Graham development, he's more upside than Rybo. Play him more and start Head.

I agree, Graham has it in him. He's athletic and he hussles on defense. If JVG coaches him a lot and teaches him the defense rotation, i'm sure his defense will be better than Bowen's. Graham will hussle especially since he wants to prove himself. So Graham, turn your defense up a notch, your offense is already better than bowen, and for sure you'll get a spot in JVG's rotation.

Why not? And Baxter looked fairly good, better than Swift. It is time for desperate measures, the team might find a diamond on the bench or at least a pearl, or maybe a ......

Considering we just got kicked around by the frickin Toronto Raptors, I'd say it's a worthy consideration.

I don't know... the Rockets are still reeling from DaDakota's last suggestion to start Langhi.

Well, at least the idea here is don't start Bowen, right?

Yao typically sets the pace in the 1st quarter. So now we need a new 1st quarter offensive spark.

I say start Luther Head. See how close the game is in the opening minutes, and if we can't contain the other team, then maybe put Bowen in for Luther.

Otherwise, we're in for a whole lot more 12-point 1st quarters.
