Does anybody know a free music program I can download that slows ("screws") music? I am just wanting to hear how certain songs sound and if they sound good when this is done to them so the program does not have to record. If anybody knows a program that does this please let me know. Thanks in advance.

I don't know about the recording part, but if you just want to hear it slow, Windows Media Player can do that. Go to View, Enhancements, and then Play Speed Settings and choose what speed you want it to go at.

Not free, but Tracktor is the way to go. Tracktor Music Studio. Either that or PCDJ FX. You know how to get it.

Oh yeah, if you want to record the tempo change, get a wave editor like audacity - free - or cooleditpro or soundforge. I prefer soundforge. You just take the wave file and time compress/expand., without a key lock. If you key lock, the vocals won't change but the tempo will. It's better to alter in bpm than in time units. You may need to convert your mp3 to wav first, depending on program.

Thanks. This works how I wanted it to, not to record but just hear the song.
