"Oooh, he got him in the jewels"

Classic! Best part of this otherwise brutal game.

    Yeah, I actually am.

He's not great, but he's improving. He seems more comfortable now. He still has a long way to go, but he's definitely better than he was earlier in the year.

Very Funny, but earlier he said that "the Raptors will be a force to be reckoned with." Very Not True! I loved Clyde as a player, but.

The thing about Clyde is he's way too positive about everything. To him every player has great potential and has a good game and could be a great player in the future.

Then again this is the same Clyde who told me Reece Gaines was going to be a force to be reckoned with as well when we acquired him.

I think Clyde has potential. You have admit that he is getting better as the season goes on. Cooper only got worse and worse until the rockets put us out of our misery and canned her. I think Clyde could make it if he keeps it up and learns the ropes. Cut the Clyde a little slack.

I don't know, the few games I've heard Clyde, he hasn't been as horrible as everyone's made him out to be. He's not great and yeah he says dumb things at times and stumbles over his words, but yes, he's getting better and he's nowhere near as bad as Cynthia Cooper.

I still think he's terrible. He's fine for a halftime analyst, not for a color man. Seriously, did the Rockets not care about hiring someone who is actually qualified?

Dude Clyde is not that bad seriously..... He looks pretty comfortable in the pre-game and post-game, but needs to work a little on the color commentary. I think that he will do nothing but improve as the season goes on.....

Cut Clyde some slack, at least we dont have to listen to Mississippi leg hound swamp buggy 3-bawl Trayceey MuhGrayceey garbage.

I admit he is getting better though. It's just funny how he basically repeats everything Bill says though.

I always get the Grandpa feeling from Clyde. Most retired players who are announcers talk about how things were back in their day, but Clyde also always repeats what Bill says like he's forgotten Bill just said it. I don't know, just makes me want to call him Grandpa Clyde.

That was the one real highlight in that game. Thank you Clyde. That was hilarious.

Clyde mostly just repeats what Bill says in different words, and occasionally will throw something of his own experience in there. I think the repeating thing is a crutch. Hopefully the more comfortable he becomes the less he will use that.

After a year or so of experience Clyde will be a "force to be reckoned with" ...NOT

Clyde uses every cliche in the book. He has no style of his own. Plus he is painful to listen to dude struggles to put a sentence together. His herky-jerk sentences remind me of Sam Cassells drives down the lane. You can't tell where he's going.

For all you league pass owners too, Glide pales in comparison to some of the other commentators out there. I especially like watching the Nets local feed with Mark Jackson and Marv Albert. Jackson is especially interesting b/c he really gives you the perspective of what its like to be a player in the league. He uses the actual lingo that players use and gives the viewer a deeper understanding and attachment to what is going on. He breaks down the play from baseline to baseline with his insights on what the players were thinking when a great play transpires. Thats what I want from Clyde, a deeper analysis of the game. I get the impression that its b/c Clyde was a superstar and he doesnt explain much of the game b/c it came to him so easily. He expects everybody out there to understand as well as him.
