    Amazing.

He's no doubt the best player in the NBA individually.

And yes, he always seem to made incredible plays everytime against the MAV. Maybe it's because of Cuban...dirk...or......

You'd think Kobe would have to be pretty p*ssed at being held out of the 4th. I mean, games like that happen once in a career.

What's even more sickening about this performance is that he's done it before!

He scored 56 against the Grizzlies a few years back in only 3 quarters (Phil sat him the 4th in that one also).

    SICK!

I just read that around the 9:00 mark, PJ asked Kobe if he wants to play and Kobe said, "Whatever is best for the team," and he didn't play the 4th quarter.

if you allow a guy to score 62 points on you through 3 quarters, you have no legitimate chance to win the nba championship.

Love him or hate him... you have to admit it would have been sweet to see ANYONE score 70 or possibly 80 points in a game.
Which Kobe had a legitimate shot at doing if he had played the fourth

I like Kobe's game and think that he is the best individual player in the game right now. However, I'd rther have TMac on my team because he makes his teammates better. I really don't see Kobe in that role.

WOW!! People can pile on him all you want, but he's damn good and the best scorer in the game.

Man if that was me I would have played the 4th and tried for a 100. I HATE Kobe with a passion because he appears to be so arrogant and smug but that is impressive. Maybe this will inspire T-Mac to go for 80 tonight with all the injuries we have :D .

I happy that Kobe got 62, but im ECSTATIC that is was against the Mavs :D . The only way this woulda made it better was if Kobe woulda dunked on Dirk and that punk Howard. I just really enjoy any loss by the Mavs really...

Much as I dislike him, gotta take my hat off to Kobe - amazing performance. Honestly don't know if anyone in the league today can match that, even if they use 4 quarters. Iverson's the only real contender, IMO.
