Well this is the start of the college bowl (post) season and my hometown school, Arkansas State University, is playing in their first Division I bowl game ever. I am rooting against them. I absolutely cannot stand Arkansas State or anything about the school. Go Southern Miss! Hell if the team wins this town will probably have a damn parade in their honor. People are already acting like A-State has made the national title game. Hey: New Orleans Bowl = Toilet Bowl Ha ha ha!
I think you mean it's the start of the 2006 pre season. That's really all the bowls are good for. Next year's preseason rankings. Seriously, college football is the only sport to have meaningless preseason games after the season.
It's actually a pretty competitive game...which, the sad thing is, will probably be one of the two or three interesting bowl games. Screw these lame bowls...we need a college football playoff system!!!
