Since Yao is out for 'several weeks', and most people are estimating 6 weeks, I thought it would be a good idea to get some predictions of what the record will be up until he comes back. Lakers My prediction: 17-9. When I looked at the schedule, it seems suprisingly light of heavyweights.
I've never heard a couple weeks being 6 weeks, but whatever. Here's my prediction: 17-9 Like the other poster said, surprisingly this really isn't that hard of a swing. Compared to the last 6 weeks. But man, I am not too sure about this team with out Yao. The role players are really going to have to step up. Especially the likes of Swift and howard. Seems to be the consensus in the big, stickied Yao has surgery, out "several weeks" thread at the top of the forum. Several weeks implies that it is several weeks, meaning more than a few. I think it's a fair estimate. I hope it's only six weeks.
Yao's injury is really pissing me off. There is no better time to improve our record than in this month.
