It seems like a mentally stronger team, we havent had any hearbreaking losses. The Mavs beat us because of our lack of confidence in the clutch. We chocked down the stretch in every one of our losses vs the Mavs, except game 7. If we had game 7 today, the rockets wouldnt have lost and if they did, not even by half as many points.

Too many players have swagger but not the skills

Wayne Gretzky? Joe Montana? Bill Russell?

Dude, fights are part of hockey. Gretzky fights for a living and you're saying he's not aggressive or has swagger?

Bill Russell has been involved in so many fights.

I guess I should have thrown in the word competitive

Oh, if we're doing tennis then Sampras should make the list too.

I agree with JVG on this. Having the skills/talent/ability is much more important than having swagger. Having both maybe gives you a little extra something, but I don't see swagger as necessarily being a prerequisite to being great.

Gretzky getting in fights? Since when. Unless you're talking about "Swingers".

Pele. He is arguably the greatest athlete in sports history. And he never had "swagger" and I have never heard him getting into any fight. One of the most humble guys in sports history.

His coach had him clean the locker room and showers after his first pro match. Can't imagine that happening today ...

"I knew they just tied the game up and it was all in my hands to win this game for us," McGrady said. "That's the only thing I had in mind, to attack the basket and get something good.

I wish Yao had this mentality.
