Hi -- simple peice of advice needed. I am going to be traveling in China for a few weeks, and my type of job requires me to work off and on, so I will be bringing my laptop with me.

Do I need a power converter/adapter or something?

I think Sony and Canon checks for the 220V and converts it to the USA voltage of 110 (i think). It make sense because Sony and Canon are from Japan, and why would they want to make different adapter models when one model will work internationally.

You may need a power voltage adapter/converter. Check your power AC adapter. Mine does it for me taking in a range of 100-240V. Yours probably does too.

No, but you will need a connector that fits the wall socket for China.

Most places have 2 different sockets. Even my broke ass village in the mountains had the sockets that we use alongside the round ones lol
