    In the past four years, 16 defensive players and 9 Offensive players have gone on to play D1. Only ones I can name off the top of my head are Chase Daniels, and Chase Wasson. I forget where Daniels is at, but Wasson is the QB for D1-AA Texas State that lost in the national Semifinals last weekend. SL is a Very Rich school with many Professional athletes living in the area (both in NFL & MLB). They have a very nice indoor practice facility. Their coach (Todd Dodge) was the QB for Port Aurther Jefferson HS, then University of Texas. He's a great Quarterbacks coach, and his son (sophomer) is Carrolls current backup QB. He gets a LOT of playing time & will be the starter next year.
