Hey macalu, is the goal in your backyard adjustable height? I know some people may not be down for it, but my friends and I like to play 3 on 3 with like 9 foot goal sometimes just to spice things up a bit. It's always a little more exciting when there's a danger of getting dunked on :D

it's adjustable. i think at it's peak you could still dunk it...i don't know about an in-game dunk though.

ok, so i looked at the forcast for next friday. looks like it is going to be in the high 60s. that's during the day. at night will be around 50s. this will likely change though. for the sake of argument, lets just say it won't.

i can still bbq if you guys are down for that and watch the game afterwards. there's a minor (well, that's dependent on your cold tolerance) problem. i don't have any heat at my house. so, if it's 50 outside, it'll feel like 40 inside. combine that with your sweat, it's likely to feel pretty horrible.

i could bring a 19 inch television outside but then we won't be able to enjoy the big 60 inch inside. no HDTV though. sorry.

also, looks like it could be a big crowd. i think 10-15 is ideal. anymore than that, it's just not worth it playing 3 on 3.

let me know how you guys feel about it. the sooner we get a concensus the sooner i can figure out how much food i need to prepare.

Edit: someone bring a football too!

Don't worry about it being a big crowd. That's how these things usually start out, and by the time it actually comes about about 10% of the people that said they would show up actually do.

Hmm, 10 %. Then we need 100 people to make this happen.

I still plan on attending. 3 on 3 would probably be better for my out of shape ass.

    Around the Hobby Airport Area.

barbeque sounds cool with me, not sure if I'll have enough time to watch the game, but definitely will stay for the bbq.

nah don't worry about the 60 inch, we'll find someway to bring it outside, they usually have a hidden set of wheels if you look hard enough.

It's not that long bro. Maybe 20-25 minutes using the beltway, at least it's not intercontinental. :)
