    I was just going to post this. Very sad news indeed. I am a West Wing addict. Leo is probably my favorite character on the show. It will be very difficult to replace him.

    He was a great actor. And his character was at least in my top two on West Wing along with Toby. Looks like the Toby character's on his way out now too.

    Who's gonna run with Santos now?

    Wow. I am stunned. He was an amazing actor. I loved his character (Leo), and I loved his performance. It's truly a sad day.

    First time I saw John Spencer was in the Alley Theatre's production of Frankie and Johnnie. I've always liked his work. Sad to hear he has passed.

    Died from a heart attack at only 58. Damn... life is short.

    Damn. I really enjoyed him.

    For some reason I didn't think that The West Wing would go on past this current season. Wonder if this will make that happen.

    Wow, that sucks. One of my favorite characters. Should be interesting to see how the writers write him out. Especially after last's week episode.

    This is the first I've heard of this. I started watching previous seasons of The West Wing on DVD about a year ago and I absolutely loved Leo's character.

    Spencer was a really good actor.

    This is ironic, considering the fact that his character recently had a heart attack as well. Life imitates art.

    I'm betting they're about 3/4 done with the current season. With all the schedule changes and delays, I'm betting season 7 won't end until May sweeps.
