it's clearer than ever that there's precious little "deabte" and next to zero "discussion" in this forum. most posts are simply links to external articles (guilty!) snarky comments re same (here!), or feeble attempts to "pwn" another poster. In honor of Howard Stern's move to Sirius, and his plans for a take off on "The View", where actual crack addicts will debate policy, is there a more appropriate moniker for the D&D that better describes what actually transpires here?
I like to think of the D&D as a Quarantined Virus. It keeps the nutjobs from infecting the rest of the board.
How about the: Laugh as andymoon tries to look smart by using the word 'said' as an adjective Forum HARRRRRR
I prefer to enjoy the way you and your brother get flustered, defensive, and angry as I trounce you in the war of words. I may not have the best grammar all the time, but at least my posts have substance that you and your brother avoid at all costs. Keep criticizing my grammar, traitor. It is the only thing you have on me.
Should have just titled this "Let's bash andymoon in this thread since we can't win in our own threads" C'mon folks, this is pretty sad if you are saying there is no "deabte" and then using this as an opportunity to continue to be take potshots at people who aren't even in this thread.
Said behavior appears to be coming from said poster. HARRRRR In this 'war of words', it looks like andymo(r)on is armed and ready to fight with a clinched fist!! OWNED
After refusing to take the bet, all your posts are pretty much meaningless. They are funny though. Carry on.
Yes I agree there are problems with the D & D but its not all that bad. There are many thoughtful posters and some very good and informed debates. I find some of the religion debates to be excellent and the open attitude that is shown by many of the posters there should be held up as an example for the rest of the D & D. The biggest impediment IMO to substantial discussion is this attitude of Owned. No one is scoring these debates so noone is ever going to Own anyone else here. To claim so is nothing more than rhetorical masturbation. We've all got opinions that we think are right and we all want to make those opinions forcefully but I think we can do without the juvenile attitude that we own anyone else. And one more thing. Lets quit challenging people on bets. I've always felt it was ridiculous to bet with people you primarily know from internet bulletin boards.
