.....clanked that 3 pointer that sent the game into overtime? Would this board have erupted into a hate fest? Would JVG be bashed? Surely, people would be upset that Tmac didn't take that shot.

Heck, I was a bit upset that Wesley drove the ball instead of handing it off to Tmac, but then Wesley draws a foul.......

Before all that, in the third quarter, I was about to shut it off, since I thought it was over. (but I'd have recorded it on DVR just in case.....hey, it was late and I was TIRED... :p )

But what happens? We don't fold, we stay intense on defense, we get back into the game, and we WIN! We don't quit! JVG and the team pulled it out.

Moral of the story: It's not all on one guy, or one coach. We win and lose as a team. Ryan Bowen helped us win that game. Luther Head played a bit below his standard, but he helped us win.

The Rockets are getting better with what they have to work with, they are trying, and not quiting. I'll take that.

    :)

If he'd missed that last shot, this board would have put him on a spit and roasted him. Welcome to Clutchfans.

JVG would get bashed if we lose no matter what. There's a reason edc and R0ckets03 always disappear during our win streaks. ;)

Not all of them. The Luther Lovers would've wept, wailed and gnashed their teeth, but I don't think they'd have bashed him. Yet.

That is the best part about winning streaks.

Even if we'd lost I still would have marveled how well that play was executed. And though Head had a bad game I still want a guy like that taking that shot. Luther reminds me a lot of Maxwell with the difference being he got himself straightened out in college. He still has the bulldog in him though.

I had to watch this game by myself, too nerve wrecking to be online lol

btw, Tolbert did one of the better announcing jobs on Yao that I've heard. He talked about his good points, like how he is dominant down low when he gets the ball, and his weaknesses, such as his tendency to deisappear for stretches of time. That's all I want.

I wouldn't have bashed him if he hadn't made it

With his 3 point shooting percentage and his confidence in his shot, I like our chances with him taking that shot

come on, all you fools would have bashed him if the shot had missed. quit lying on here. i probably would have too. real sportsfans don't have room for the fairweather crowd that claim they were behind that rather ballsy shot before he took it. and yes, i'm calling YOU out!

you know most of them would of bashed him for his poor game and everyone else..but he was really the one i wanted to take that shot....because he proved he was clutch in college and he has a lot of confidence for a rookie

i would have bashed him and JVG if he missed it. And I'm a huge JVG supporter (I would have only bashed that decision). I mean, during the time out, all I said was "Don't let Head be the one shooting it after the game he's had". Shows what I know. But if he missed it, I would have been "right" and pissed.

JVG will still favor head because jvg is the rox HEAD coach.

Sort of my point. Even if he'd have missed, would it then be a bad coaching decision, assuming it was JVG that designed that exact shot?

Some decision, are neither right nor wrong, but they will either work or not.
