Haven't seen this in here, if I missed it delete this thread.

Bill and Bull mentioned in the Rockets-Sonics pregame show that Anderson was in Houston due to an injury, but that they didn't have any more information on it.

    What happened?

    (Scroll down to Rockets Summary)

    Anderson has sore knee
Rockets forward/guard Derek Anderson played with a sore right knee Wednesday night, believing the swelling in it had gone down enough since Sunday to try to play on it.

Anderson was kicked late in Sunday's game at Portland by center Joel Przybilla.

"I got kicked on the inside at the end of the game in Portland," said Anderson, who played almost 19 minutes Wednesday. "It was a bone bruise. It was real puffy and stiff, but the swelling has gone down a little bit. I never had one like this, on the inside."

real champions play through pain. even if it will mess them up for their career. i would rather see da play this game, mess himself up real bad and end his career, then see him take a few games off and get back 100%. real champions live for the moment, not the future. the word was spoken, and it was good. -Potter
