Jasikevicius qualifies as a rookie? Isn't he 30+?

Totally, he is soooo athletic he doesn't even realize it. He needs to learn how to use it like Wade does.

He's definatly a silver lining in the otherwise dissapointing start to this season.

Rockets management has done quite well the past 2 or 3 seasons, so let's hope they don't revert to years past and actually trade him for the here and now. That means, not even for Artest. But that can be argued in the appropriate thread.

    Head, keep it coming!

I watched him throughout college since I have a lot of family that graduated from the U of I, and I honestly wasn't sure how well he'd be able to adjust to the NBA game, but he has definitley done it. I love the fact that he never plays scared and is confident without arrogance. That is exactly the mentality needed for this team. Luther was a great pick and props to the Rockets for making the pick.

Whenever Head does attack the basket, he misses or turns the ball over. Once he can start hitting those layups then you might see him dunk.

Luther is the man. The dude had bricked and I mean bricked 3 trey's last night, but without thinking about it, he nailed that 3 at the end. Major Clutch if you ask me. Get 'em Luther.

I wish Luther was the starting PG. This would be good on the job training. I mean it's not like David Wesley(who played well yesterday) is a PG.

Why not give Luther Head who may have Steve Francis type talent or close to it, a shot.

Yes. Despite being in his late 20's, it is his first season in the NBA. Lots of foreign born players, including Yao, played professional basketball for years before joining the NBA. Whether they're 18 or 34, their first NBA season is still their rookie year.

And yeah, I love Head. I am glad I wasn't one of the nay sayers when we drafted him. He and Salim Stoudamire were the two biggest steals in the draft.

I think your absolutley correct when it comes to Salim Stoudamire, he was a pretty good pick up in the second round

Something as good as Head is hard to come by...

especially when you are old, single, poor and ugly like myself.

Given him 10~12 shots every game, Head will return a surprise
