Thanks A buddy of mine kept saying it was 2004, so I shot an email to Johnny Football to confirm it and sure enough it is 2005. McClain is pretty good answering questions pretty quick.
Does anyone else worry, like I do, that the hiring of Dan Reeves and the resulting sense throughout the organization that EVERYONE is playing for their jobs might f*** up our chances for the top pick? I know, I know, these guys are all professionals and always playing to win... blah blah... but with the season lost, they might be winding down a little bit in terms of intensity. Now, I wonder if they'll take it up a notch. With Arizona and SF left on our schedule, we could wind up with 3 wins.
I'm hoping that Dan Reeves pay particular attention to our QB position. I'm hoping he, unlike the rest of the organization, will see how bad Carr is and will tell them not to give him the ridicilous 8mill this offseason. The amount of money carr makes.... will be making if they keep him is the biggest joke in all of sports currently. IMO.
Carr is not that bad. Hopefully, they'll re-adjust the base pay of his contract and add incentives only if he deserves it. I've seen other players make more and play less. Carr will improve.
Not really. Arizona has the top rated passing attack, yards wise, in the NFL. We have the 25th worst pass defense. Plus Reeves being here could have the opposite effect.
I think Reeves being here is just to assess the team for Bob McNair. He doesn't hae a football background and he already made some poor choices in trades etc. so he definently wants to get more hands on with the team from an outsiders point of view. If you read that article in the Chronicle you can see that he wants to know what is happening to his team rather that just sitting back and making mistakes.
Ya, the best thing for this franchise was to get an outsiders point of view of the team. I couldn't stand seeing camera shots of McNair in the owner's box w/ Casserly connected to his hip. I wonder what in the world Casserly could be telling McNair up in there. Reeves job isn't hard: Clear house and get a new coach.
