It's nice to see that I'm not the only one that listens to dead prez, they're a very underrated duo.

buffalospeedway... i agree. i think there's only like 2 tracks that are just so-so. the rest of the cd has some sweet grooves and beats. Ibrahim Ferrir.. man, who would've thunk it. Mighty good tunes, mighty good.

I've been in a country mood lately as well.

Rodney Crowell -- The Houston Kid. Have any of you guys heard this album? Pretty good stuff IMO. I believe the song "Telephone Road" may have been released as a single. I know "I Walk the Line (Revisited)" has been.

Brad Paisley -- Part Two. Don't really like all of his stuff, but he really can play that pink paisley Telecaster.

Kenny Wayne Shepherd -- Live On. Okay, that's not country, but I have been listening to it as well.

Junior Brown -- Junior High. Gotta love him.

While I won't go as far as TheFreakishOne, I really like Queen a lot. "Another One Bites the Dust" is one of my personal favorites.

I agree. Their new cd hasn't come out yet, but I have it.(LA conections) It's better than the first. Be sure to check it out. I also would recommend AZ's "9 lives", if you're into D.P.

    RE: Gorillaz,

It's a good CD. The songs on the record run the gamut from hip-hop (like "Clint Eastwood") to punk, pop, etc. From what I understand, it's a project headed by Dan the Automator (a San Francisco DJ). He has Del da Funky Homosapien and Damon Albarn from Blur contributing among others. For those with eclectic tastes. It's very creative, but suffers somewhat from jack-of-all-trades syndrome.
