I thought Ten Things I Hate About You and A Knight's Tale were both very good. He also did a pretty good job in The Patriot

With all the media hype surrounding this, the gay cowboy theme is now a novelty that people will go see. Of course a subset of that group will be the pretentious, hetero "I'm so ok with homosexuality that I'll make it a point to see this movie" crowd.
Agreed 150% No way I could have said that any better........Except that the person sitting in front of me would stand a very good chance of getting vomited on. For all the guys that will be getting dragged to this movie kicking and screaming by your wife or girlfriend..............grow a pair.
thanks, I thought about that last night and it was lake tahoe. I remembered it had something to do with blue also. you're right, it was a pretty good movie but the ending was a bit weak.
My wife wouldn't want to go to such a movie. But honestly, if she wanted me to go to the movie with her, I'd do it.... ... for a price.

The movie is supposed to be very good, but I'm not really interested in seeing it. I could care less about the gay factor. A relationship is a relationship is a relationship as far as I'm concerned. I just don't really care about cowboys and I am even less interested in a period piece love story. I've seen lots of chick flicks and independent films that would qualify - some with homosexual overtones or just all-out homosexuality in them. No big deal. If it is a good movie with a genuine relationship between the characters, not just something overhyped and un-interesting, I could watch it and it wouldn't bother me. This is a to-each-his-own issue. The beauty of the movies is that you go to the one's you want and not to the one's you don't.

The part where you said that you like Will Smith because the scenes in Six Degrees of seperation didn't show anything and were tastefully done. By the way Will Smith later said that if he were a better actor he would have done a kiss, and he would hope that if he could do it if he had it to do over. But that is beside the point. I just think there are no actors or actresses that haven't done love scenes.
