    The Astros orgination has e-mailed, and they said you can't play, you might rip up your acl.

    I said something about that in my initial post. I'm not in Houston, and I have no way of setting anything up. I was waiting for someone go ahead and take control of this thing. I won't be in Houston until Saturday or Sunday.

    I'll ask around at my old junior high tommorow (St. Ambrose, northside represent) and see what they'd charge for an hour.

    That is , if everyone's ok with paying a bit.

    well, for junior high I went to St. Ambrose here in H-TOWN,

    then I went up to Mt. Zion for high school.

    then of course I became the greatest NBA player alive.

    Marion community center is out. They indicated they need paperwork done 3 weeks in advance. :(

    Anyone got a church we can donate to for use of their facilities?

    If you guys are interested, i have a nice halfcourt setup in my backyard. it's only big enough for 3 on 3 though. there's also a baseball field 150 yards from the house that can also be used for some football.

    if you guys are really interested in something more, i'll set up the bbq pit and grill some food provided that everyone pitch in some cashe (this brother ain't rolling in the dough, yet). we can grill b/t 5:30 and 8pm (when it's dark) and catch the rockets vs nuggets game that night.

    this would be all dependent on the weather obviously.

    Checked with my church a few days ago but just got an answering machine.

    I'll call back today.


    Doesn't sound half bad. It'd just be a matter of rotating people in, but we could easily get that accomplished lol.

    As a last resort (or maybe our only resort lol), then that's definitely cool with me.
