I think the mix is VERY good. Didn't realize Stromile had so many nice dunks already, yet I saw every one of them when they happened...funny how that works. Anyway, the "throw it up" part of the song is obviously fitting, but come on...the extreme cursing really bothered me in the sense that it distracted me from just enjoying the highlights. I think a clean version of the song (if there is one) or just another song entirely, could have made the video even better.
nice video!! i really don't care either way for the lyrics since i hate rap. but i guess the song goes with the video this time so it's cool... i hear cussing everyday, a rapper cussing doesn't ammuse me either way.
Nice vid. I listen to rap music, but I gotta agree with the excessive cursing. takes any (little to no) substance away from his music. I know, get krunk...ugh, how about get some musical talent. but hey, he's rich from it. Throw it up for him I guess. Thanks for the vid.
Good lord, that is enough cussing to make a long shoreman blush. Nice video but it's NC-17 for language. BTW, is it just me or are these videos cooler with with crowd and announcer reactions and no soundtrack? I just love to hear the crowd go slient when Stro gets nasty on the home court center. I like hiphop, but when it's repeating the same line 20 times and the other material in it is nothing but random curse words, it's a pain to listen to. Some of these videos are still cool, though.
thanks for all the nice comments. i was going to wait till the all star break to put this mix out but i had some time this weekend and finished it up. as far as the song goes, i know its hardcore as far as rap goes but i felt it went well with the highlights because stro's slams are nasty. if it offended anyone, my apologies. i plan on doing a different version of this mix later on in the year with more highlights and a different song. which player do you guys think i should feature in a new mix? i was thinking on making a yao video but i'm up for any suggestions.
