riyadh, on and off from 91-99 in rawdah 1, 2, and 3... right by the original indian school. And nowadays near batha and harah, at the askaan. right by the interior ministry.
so i'm guessing that 'parry' thing is something else completely different than a simple block, which would damage your health a little? how hard is it to do a parry, and how much harder is it to do 15 parries??? it looked like a simple jab that you need to time perfectly with the opponent's attack to me.
If he would have blocked the SUPER combo by pressing back he would have died because simply blocking super moves still results in a loss of health. The timeing of the parry move is very difficult and I had no idea that was even possible. I havent played Street Fighter in years but that brings back memories. I dont care how nerdy I sound that video brings tears to my eyes.
It's amazing because for each of the hits, you have to press toward the attacker once. It's not like you just hold back and he blocks it all automatically. If Ken had done that, he would have died, as a normal block (where you just hold back) only reduces damage, wheareas a parry totally negates it. It's incredible because the timing is insane, the dude must have logged hundreds of hours playing that game. I'm a nerd.
Thanks for explaining that. I really had no idea. It would be kinda interesting to see the rest of the video to see how Chung Li got the upperhand against a guy who could block all those attacks.
Indian dudes experiancing snow for the first time http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-4387245330219384696&q=desi
On the end of the vid game video: "...you had to be there." Obviously. And what in the world is this crap?
Exactly. Zelda is a girl. She's the love interest of Link. But Link is the one in the green jumpsuit...so there are still gender issues with that music video, or whatever the hell it is.
Man what's funny is that when my cousins came to America last year from India they acted exactly the same way when they saw snow. Also, i'm glad my language skills came in handy because i actually understood what they were saying the whole time.
mine came to america for the first time too, but thank god they had watched a few american movies, and stuff, and werent as "EXCITED" as these dweebs.
I just think it's funny that a board comprised of guys that get excited over watching people trying to put a ball through a hoop can call other people dweebs for getting excited over video games.
Not only that, but a large contingent of which get excited watching people try to put a ball through a hoop IN A VIDEO GAME can call other people dweebs for getting excited over video games. I was a bit underwhelmed when I first saw the video, but I stopped playing SF2 before this parrying move was introduced, so I had no idea that the blocking the guy was doing was so difficult. Knowing that, cool stuff.
