Britney and Christina got their start by singing bubble gum teen pop. No one cares if they can sing or play an instrument, as long as they look good. IMO, they both can't sing. Christina has tried to branch out...Lady Marmalade, Spanish album, duet with Ricky Martin etc...to be taken more seriously ("she can sing"). Is that why you think she can sing?
