interesting site that seems to confirm, yes there were 3 gunmen.

Roxran, I know the lawyer who headed the congressional investigation into the Kennedy killing during the mid seventies. After re-examining the evidence, he is convinced of 3 things.

    1. The Mafia probably killed Kennedy.

    2. There was more than one gunmen.

    3. The Warren Commission reached the proper conclusion based on the technology and evidence that was presented to them at the time.

    Great website.

Of course, since clear errors are made on this website, it's hard to take it seriously. Stating that Kennedy was "pointing at his throat" is just plain wrong and the vast majority of the doctors at Parkland who treated Kennedy described the throat wound as an exit wound.

Also, if the third shot came from where it is said to have come from, what happened to the bullet? There's no exit wound consistent with that placement, and the bullet was not in the President's head. And it ignores the entrance wound in the back of the President's head.

And one cannot see anything in the photos published on the website anywhere near what is purported to be there. And much of what is presented is directly contradicted by the doctors who treated Kennedy at Parkland and the doctors who autopsied the President at Bethesda.

It also contradicts physics. Perhaps there were snipers all over Dealey Plaza, but the only bullets that hit anything came from behind the limo. And their theory of the neck wound shot coming from the front would mean that the bullet came in through the windshield (without actually damaging the windshield. It only looks damanged in one unclear photograph. In other photos after the fact, the windshield is not damaged. Who fixed it on the way to Parkland?) hit Governor Connally in the wrist, breaking it and then traveling upwards into his chest and out his back (in full defiance of the medical evidence) and up through Kennedy's neck. The bullet then had to turn back around and land in the Governor's lap so it could fall out on the stretcher at Parkland. And this magic bullet had to make entrance wounds look like exit wounds on both the President and the Governor.

And the vast majority of people in Dealey Plaza that day (88%)reported hearing only three shots (another 7% reported hearing only two or fewer). Only two percent of witnesses in Dealey Plaza that day felt that the shots came from more than one location, as well.

The real evidence overwhelmingly supports the notion that there was one shooter located to the back of the limo when the shots were fired, and the two shots that hit Kennedy/Connally probably came from the School Book Despository. It's only when we decide to ignore the evidence that we come up with these wild theories as to how this crime occurred.

And these are some wild theories on this page. The part about the President's face being blown away (it wasn't) to the idea that Tippett was killed for replacement parts for post-mortem surgery to the President. The fact that even Jackie and Bobby would have to had been involved in the cover-up of her husband's murder for these theories to work makes them even more incredible.

But ... if you accept the fact that the shooters had magic bullets, then it all can make sense. And why couldn't they have magic bullets?

Maybe the people there said they only heard one shot because they panicked after they heard the first shot, and then their were screams and people weren't thinking straight. There is just to many wild theories to think that one person killed the president of the United States.

I have a few magic bullets left that I don't think I'm going to use anymore.

If anyone wants them (and who wouldn't?), I'll offer them to the highest bidder.

Quotes from Bill Bonanno, the model for the fictional "Godfather" Michael Corleone.

We were told to turn on the TV. Jack Ruby, right there on network television, had just shot Oswald in the basement of the Dallas County Jail.

As I watched replay after replay of what had just happened, I could not believe what I was seeing. Not because the prime suspect in the assassination had just been killed, but because of who had done the shooting. I knew that face, that body, that swift, squat, compact move. Jack Ruby was known to everyone in our world. He was not a made member (he was Jewish), but he was a gofer, a fixer, the kind of non-Family person who was always available for favors, to do some rough stuff, make a payoff, do a job. I didn't know him, but I had seen him around in Chicago, New Orleans, Cuba, everywhere. He was out of Chicago and New Orleans. He belonged to [Mafia kingfish] Sam Giancana like a pinkie ring . He had been living there in Texas for some time and had been running in our world for years. There could be no mistaking the meaning of his involvement.

See, that's what I'm talking about. And let's not forget that Oswald's rifle was almost certainly reverse-engineered from the UFO wreckage at Roswell.

I'm not sure if the site is completely thorough, however it is clearly evident that a majority of the points made are note-worthy and extremely supportive of the 3 gunmen claim. Aspects which help confirm my belief of this to be true include:
    1. clear evidence of the mysterious signalers in these pictures as well as others. For example, why in the hell would someone open an umbrella? Why is the "extending hand guy" not positioning his palm toward the President (but rather in the direction of the 1st shooter.)

    2. The fact the bullet supposedly found was in pristine condition (As an enthusiastic shooter myself, I can confirm this is not possible - a bullet that hits even a soft target will reveal considerate distortion.)

    3. "Back and to the left" suggests a side head kill shot.

    4. It is near impossible to shoot the President through the neck at the purported placement in the building.

In summary, I disagree that the info. contradicts physics and I further contend the explosion near the back of the President's head is an exit wound due to the diameter of the hole compared to the entrance wound at the temple. Even pictures I have seen of his autopsy show this to be true. Think about it, more than likely several people were involved in the planning of this operation/act....It could be true than Lee was the one assassin who missed the target of the three shooters!

Congress reopened the investigations into murders of Kennedy and MLK Jr. in the seventies. I know the lawyer who headed the Kennedy portion of the investigation.

It is his opinion that the Warren Commision did not have the technology available to them to conduct a "modern" investigation. He feels that there was no government conspiricy, and the Warren Commision did a fine job considering the scientific limitations of the sixties.

The Kennedy family and the Italian Mafia had ties from the Prohibition Era, when the Kennedys made a fortune on illegal liquor (damn the pusher man!). Bobby Kennedy's Department of Justice declared an all out war on organized crime in 1961.

Everybody knows what happens to business associates who turn on the mob. I think the Kennedy assassination story is really that simple.

Yet another thing you have to wait 'til you die to find out [IMG].

I do think the lack of preparation on the part of the FBI was suspicious. Evidently some very routine procedures were not performed.

If the Warren commission did its job so well, then why did many of its contemporaries critique it so heavily?

    >> 3. "Back and to the left" suggests a side head kill shot.

This one aspect has always been a curiosity to me, since even those who support the lone gunman theory tend to ignore this and offer no explanation for it. Indeed, the bullet found in the hospital in pristine condition after it had apparently "fallen out" is nothing short of amazing. The fact that critical garments and the vehicle itself were "cleaned" before full forensics were completed. I have yet to hear a credible rebutal of these facts.

    Quite curious....

Why would a man open an umbrella? To protest the President in a uniquely British way, according to the man who was there opening the umbrella.

Actually, a tumbling bullet (which the wounds to the President and the Governor suggest, would very well be damaged in the way that this bullet was damaged and several firearms experts have confirmed this.

Actually, because of the jet effect, back and to the left suggests that the force from The President's head exploding caused the movement of his head in that direction. It doesn't necessary suggest anything about where the bullet was fired from. And the entrance wound to the back of the head suggests a rear entry.

Not true, Failure Analysis did a computer recreation that showed that the throat shot most likely came from the 6th Floor of the School Book Despository. Failure Analysis is highly respected in their field

Since the autopsy photos show no temple entrance wound and none of the doctors at Parkland who treated the President saw a temple entrance wound, it'd be hard for that to be an entrance wound and the rear to be an exit wound (and even if there was an entrance wound at his temple, there's no way the rear shot (which nearly all pathologists describe as an entrance wound) could be an exit wound from that entrance wound (if it existed, which it does not).

When I used to drive to Reunion, I always go past the knoll instead of the normal route.

When you drive down Houston St towards the book deposit, its seems like such a clear shot, you know its a conspiracy to shoot the funny angle.

Just because there are a lot of people who make things up and leave things out in order to sell books or whathaveyou doesn't mean that they're right about anything.

But, it could very well be that there was a conspiracy to kill the President. But based on the evidence, he was shot from behind, probably from the School Book Despository and quite possibly by Oswald.

As for the number of shots heard, your theory is certainly a possibility. But their memory of the event combined with the complete lack of evidence to support shots coming from other directions, combined with the testimony of those on the Fifth Floor of the School Book Despository, combined with the complete lack of credible evidence that there were more than three shots fired (the only so-called evidence I've heard that purports to confirm there were four shots is the dictabelt recording that was played for the House Committee. Said dictabelt recording has since been discredited and even disowned by the Officer who reluctantly claimed to the House that it might have been his motorcycle that had the open mike). and so on leads one to believe that the most probable explanation is that there were only three shots fired.

That's specious reasoning. "I would've killed the President differently, therefore it must be a conspiracy."

By the way, I'm bailing out on this argument before it turns into a monster thread. I've said my piece (or peace, I never know which is correct), and I am not all that interested in having these arguments again. Feel free to tear it apart, but that won't change the fact that I'm right. [IMG]

Kingrene, Bill Bonanno was definitely a figure in Organized Crime, running a family on the east coast. However, I dispute that he was the model for Michael Corleone, and I would appreciate it if you would post some reference to where you read that he actually was the model for Michael Corleone.

Tex, you may very well be correct. I did a Google search, and it appears that it is Bonanno himself who is spreading the rumor that he was the inspiration for Michael Corleone. He is just trying to sell his book.
