    The Washington Times is reporting that Washington D.C. police has found a drop of blood, and black hair, and microscopic blood evidence in Congressman Condit's apartment.

    This is getting interesting.

    PS I hope she turns up in Cancun, but this situation is starting to look grim.

    ABC News is reporting that Condit will take a lie detector test, but only if questions are agreed upon beforehand! (huh?)

    The Washington Post is talking to a minister's daughter who had an affair with Condit when she was 18. She claims he threatened her and told her never to disclose of the affair.

    I am not sure a writer could sell this story to a publisher- it is too wierd.

    In and of themselves, a drop of blood, hair, etc. (which isn't even confirmed as Levy's and may not be able to be confirmed as Levy's since there might not be a sample to compare it to) don't mean anything, especially since he's apparently not denying now that she had been there at some point.

    I can also understand wanting to know the questions in advance on the lie detector, especially since a surprise could end up showing a false positive to an unexpected question.

    Of course, he shouldn't agree to take the lie detector test anyway. It cannot help him no matter what. If the police are so into such voodoo sciences, why don't they brew up a truth broth at the next witches council meeting, or perhaps they could stick a voodoo doll full of pins that would cause Condit (or whoever) to confess to the crime.

    Condit may very well have had something to do with her disappearance (and at the very least, he's a letch), but I've seen absolutely nothing so far that proves anything or even leads me to truly believe that he's involved at all.

    What bothers me about him is that his torso appears abnormally small. He appears to be a very high-waisted man. Either that or he's doing the old-man-pants-hike thing.
