Im happy to hear that we are finally starting to get healthy. Sura supposedly is doing better and hopes to come back after the new year (according to another thread) Rafer is feeling better and could be making his comeback shortly. JBarry is feeling better to and wants to join the team as soon as possible. so with all these guys coming back who loses the most playing time? My prediction is that Rafer will get the nod over Sura just because Sura has been out for too long and will need more time to get in playing shape. Rafer / Sura (hopefully having them back will relieve Tmac of ball handling duties) Tmac / LHead / DWes (Tmac has been playing more SG) Bowen / Anderson JHoward / SSwift Yao / Deke I dont really see alot of minutes for JB or anyone else.. J
Look at the fourth quarter in Sacramento. Here's who SHOULD start. Head Anderson McGrady Swift Yao When Sura and Alston come back, maybe you move Head over to the two, but there's no disupting the results this lineup got last night. P.S. - Bench Juwan and put LB in the rotation. Howard is done.
Who loses minutes: Bowen, Wesley and Skip (in that order). Bowen will be the 1st guy to lose playing time. I don't see JHow losing PT to Swift just yet. Swift is still making too many mistakes and can't consistently get his own shots. I still hold hope that JVG can get through to him but I'm starting to get skepticle that we've already seen the best that Swift has to offer. Howard ain't fancy but he is reliable. Swift isn't reliable. With Head playing well, Wesley is in trouble. But Sura will have to TAKE Wesley's PT (which theoretically shouldn't be hard) but Sura may have a slow recovery. JB brings something to the court that will always get him PT. JB changes the pace so IMO he is assured 10-15 minutes. DA's minutes may drop a little but I think he will be our 1st guard off the bench...if he isn't starting. He still hasn't hit his stride yet and still contributes. Once DA gets comfortable, he'll show more value IMO. Alston should be worried if Sura comes back strong. I think Skip has something to offer but if he doesn't translate it into results, he won't get off the bench more than 10 minutes.
