Aww stop wasting your time reading **** like that. Forget about the national media for a while.

Think of last season's Astros. They were dead...DEAD, early in the season. Then Bam...they were in the WS.

I know I know....NBA isn't 162 games long, but this team isn't going to suck like this for the entire season. They've turned the corner. We are going to be on an 8 game winning streak.

And then many more W streaks after this one.

    Sometimes the TRUTH hurts....

Everytime someone says something negative about the Rockets, everyone on this board wants to call them a Hater or stupid.

There's a reson why the Rockets are not getting in love and that's because they don't deserve it at the present time.

I said this in another thread and I will say it again... Know one wants to hear or be told that they have a bad child.

I am a big time Rockets fan, but the fact is right now they have some serious problems and the writers are just basically telling us something we don't want to hear....

No matter how truthful it may be.

The other night on ESPN when we were playing the Celtics, he said, "If you're a Houston fan, you're not gonna like this, but get ready for the lottery."

So for us to be a bubble team now is very good, eh?

Watching the rockets take over down the stretch was encouraging. I still didnt like how they struggled when Tmac was out of the game. I'm wondering if they should make a move to bolster the backcourt or focus on getting Sura and Alston healthy.

I'd love to be the 6th seed and face either the Nuggets or Sonics in the playoffs. I think Houston is better than both of those teams. We'll see though. Go Rockets!!!

Greg Anthony is a pretentious, mediocre analyst who wouldnt have a job if Reggie Theus kicked his habit.

I didn't read through the rest of the thread to see if it's been mentioned, but on opening night Greg Anthony chose the Lakers as his dark horse team FOR THE TITLE. Then Tim Legler was like "wtf? Title???" and then Greg Anthony was like "they can make some noise".

So, I think he realizes how wrong he was, but is putting them at 8 just in case God himself wills them to the Finals. Then he can say "I told you so". I think he honestly would put the Warriors at 8 right now if he hadn't made that Lakers prediction.

I don't understand why Yao gets piled on like that.

He isn't Shaq. He doesn't get a lot of love from the refs. But he's still playing pretty well. It isn't his fault T-Mac's been out, that four defenders can be prison-raping him on court while the refs look the other way, that our guards often couldn't hit water if they fell out of a boat etc etc.

    Could Yao be better? Yes.

Does ESPN cater to the let's-see-dunks-hip-hop audience and only show "highlights" of that one time a game Yao might get blocked by a Shane Battier or miss a dunk etc etc? Yes.
