Reflecting on Swift's occasional "bird sign" after he throws down a dunk... I'm wondering if he does that because he knows that a swift is a type of bird... If so, then maybe he's a bit smarter than his earlier play this season might suggest. Then again, maybe I think too much.
Anyone noticed Brad Miller grabbed yao's arm while fighting for rebound??? No call!!! unbelieveable!!!!!
That dunk came out of nowhere. I literally screamed so loud my brother thought i fell down the stairs or something.
That's nice. I did'nt get to see it last night because I fell asleep midway through the second quarter. Were the fans booing the Kings or Swift afterwards?
I could care less about that dunk. You should get a clip of him switching off on Miller and defending Miller's jump shot and the pick and roll. Hopefully, Van Gundy sees the value in switching Yao out of those pick and roll situations in favor of more quickness and athleticism in Swift. Force the opponent to adjust the pick and roll to the other man that Yao is guarding and then keep switching Swift off to keep Yao out of as many of those pick and rolls as possible.
Hey, for once I liked the non-call. The basket wouldn't have been allowed, and it was a big lift for Swift. I think we saw the first real synergy between Yao and Swift late in this game. Beautiful assist from Swift to Yao after this play. I was beginning to think Swift was a lost cause. Glad to be wrong!
