The only player that can shoot besides Yao and Tmac is a rookie and doesn't get to play much. When he does, he doesn't get to shoot. Derek Anderson and Wesley are aweful and seem to play the whole game. The only thing that can save us now is that Sura comes back strong, we trade somebody for a shooter than Gundy will trust, and Head gets to be in the game when Tmac and Yao aren't so he is allowed to create and shoot. Swift isn't even a poor man's Cato. At least Cato could stay in front of his man and catch a few alley oop dunks. You know our team has gone to hell when I start to miss Kelvin Cato.
Swift is having a whale of a game on defense tonight. give him a break. hopefully he is just starting to adjust to JVG punishing game plan.
Don't give up rockbox! I feel your pain, and it won't get any better unless this this team starts to play wit fire & purpose! The only postive thing is that it's early in the season & hoping things will change 4 the better! Man, I never thought this would happen (LAST IN THE CONFERENCE), but as a big fan since 1981, I shouldn't be too surprise. JVG should give HEAD more playin' time. I don't wanna see ping-pong balls dancing on JVG & CD's chimney!
I repeat again: Anderson, Swift and Alston upgrade Rockets from last year. Now We only lost one more game than last year at this time. NO bad at all. The reason people are so panic is high expection before the game even started.

We are 3 out of the last 4. Team just came back from 14 down tonight and won. T-mac seems healthy and Alston, JB and Sura all returning. Things are looking up.

Good win guys but our problems are still pretty evident. Our guards are slow and can't shoot consistently except for Head who doesn't get enough playing time. This win was against the Kings who are almost as bad as we are right now. I don't like the fact that Tmac pretty much has to play like a god to beat a crappy team. It will take alot more than this win to change my mind. A perfect road trip would do it. PS: If it takes me starting a thread about how this team sucks for them to win, I will gladly do it every game.
I haven't watched any Kings games, but I wouldn't say they are crappy. You write off this win as if it doesn't mean anything. It meant a lot to both teams. The Kings were hitting shots and making plays in the 3rd to start to pull away. The Rockets showed some fight, and even closed out a game once gaining the lead. I know it's not against a top tier team right now, but man, you take steps, and the last couple games have been good for this team. I can't argue with you on our guard play. It's lacking, except for Luther. DA is streaky man. He can be so good, but he's missing open shots and getting stuck in the air not knowing whether to shoot or pass. Swift seems to be coming around. He just needs to chill. Let the game come to you, stop forcing it. I believe the TNT commentary even made some comment along the same lines.
