Ok About 15 minutes ago I was walking home from 7 11 on an afternoon Sugar Binge , As I was coming home holding a Double Gulp and a Decaf Coffee , I noticed a $20 Bill wrapped up inside of a pizza receipt . I picked it up and ran into the house yelling in happiness . But now my conscience is tugging at me ,The pizza receipt says it was delivered yesterday at 4:16 PM and tells it was delivered across the street and who delivered it .

    So , Should I

    • (A) Keep the 20 Bucks , Life's a b****
      (B) Call the Pizza Place and see if anyones missing it .
      (C) Buy a Pizza from the Pizza Place , Giving them the $20 back but getting a free pizza in return .
      (D) -Insert your own suggestion-[/list=a]

I really can't decide so I leave it to you .

I would call the pizza place. Put yourself in the shoes of the person who lost it.

    (D) Rent some p*rnography

(Also in case you didn't look in the fantasy forum, we're on the verge of having a free team, our draft is on tuesday and you might get a team on monday, just thought you'd want to know that, stick with my p*rn idea though...)

I'm usually so damn broke 20 bucks wouldn't make a difference to me. It's not even worth keeping.
Call the pizza place, give it back...what the hell.

Am I a complete fool, or does it sound like the 20 bucks doesn't belong to the pizza place at all, but the people who ordered it? Why would the delivery guy have the receipt?

Since you don't seem to know where it came from, that probably makes it easier to keep it, I would think.

Well, it would be hard to prove whose money it was. I would go buy a pizza. That way, the restaurant only loses the actual cost of the pizza.

    LMAO.

Actually, some poor guy who delivers Pizza for 4 bucks an hour is the one who will pay for the lost money.

If your conscience can handle that, keep the money. Otherwise, do the morally, ethically, and legally correct thing and call the Pizza Place.

The delivery driver will thank you.

Once I bought about $50 worth of stamps. The postal teller mis-counted and gave me twice that much.

I didn't even count them for two days. I went back in and wrote him another $50 check because I imagined the difference would have come out of his paycheck-- because the mistake came out of his drawer.

You'll feel better doing the right thing.

Why didnt you just give him the stamps back?

I'd keep the $20 bucks personally. Ownership of that money is now completely in the air and more than likely a number of parties can lay claim to it. It is not like you found a car, or something like that, where exact ownership is explicitly known.

    (the decaf wasnt for me)
Ok here's what happened , I called the guy who was on the receipt but it turned out he was the guy who took the order , not the person who delivered it . He came to get it but I said I would rather give it to the rightful owner , So I found out it was delivered by a girl named Amber . They told me Amber's "brother" was going to come over and pick up the money . That sounded fishy to me so I grilled the guy and made sure he was really the brother . So I gave him the 20 bucks and he gave me 10 bucks in gift certificates to the place for my good deed .

So I get a free pizza after all . Thats my good deed for the year , Now I can get back to plotting how to humiliate DaDakota with his new name . Thanks for you imputs .

I kept the stamps because I would need them eventually and it seemed like the best way to solve the problem.
