Because of the Stupid embargos and SANCTIONS imposed on iran, the iranians cant modernaize there aging air fleet, hence innocent iranians are suffering . these stupid sanctions are not hurting the dictators who ruler iran with an iron fist, but it's only hurting the innocent people who have to risk there lives on the aging planes.
Whats even more infurating is,the capitan of that battel ship, recived a medal for shooting down a passanger plane.
Is this a joke blaming the US for Iran's lousy air fleet? It was a military transport. The US has no obligation to sell planes to Iran. Try Airbus instead. And how about blaming Iranian incompetence to build a decent plane.

As for Airbus, it comes more sanctions. if the sell any planes to iran, the us has threatened to put stop any american company doing deals with them. Military plane or not it dosent matter, iran has no choice but to fly this pathetic old planes.
And yet because of the impact of sanctions on their air industry, it has become a fairly powerful bargaining chip for the nuclear power/weapons negotiations.
It's not just the " Air Industry" thats suffering. it's only one of many things that is suffering under these outrages sanctions.
Because the current goverment in iran is run by meglo maniacs. noones denying that, but why impose sanctions which is only HURTING ONLY THE INNOCENT? . any country that tries to help iran to modernaize it's aging Airline fleet, risks the wrath of trhe us goverment. hence noone even thinks about it. have these Sactions actually have hurt the current goverment in iran?no!!.
It's OK. Once the Iraqi elections are held in a couple of weeks, Iran will have a nice big friendly Shiite Islamic Theocracy as a next-door neighbor. It will be like looking in the mirror.
The sanctions were put on them for a reason. If Iran would comply, according to your theory, no citizens would be harmed. With Iran seeking nuclear power, I doubt the sanctions are going away any time soon.
