So that's why we waived Glover. That was an amazing shot, I saw I guy hit 2 of those in a row one handed in my UT basketball class last semester, unbelievable.
honestly, the free car is nice, but I think the best part might have been the cheerleaders surrounding him and hugging him.....at least that would have made me happy....
Back in the late 80s, the Rockets did this sort of thing at halftime. One game that i was actually at, two guys (they usually had 3 contestants) actually made the FT, the 3 pter and the half court shot and both won a car. I think they discontinued the contest the next year.
I remember that too. You had three shot to make a free throw, if you made that you got a shot at a 3 pointer, and then a shot at half court. I remember a game where Rodney McCrays' brother Scooter got picked and he missed all 3 free throws. It was pretty funny.
