Was watching the Rocks-Celts game earlier tonight. Yao took a shot from Scalibrini. When I saw that blood, it looked like Yao had just gotten mugged or something. I agree with Bill and Clyde when they said Yao is one of the most determined and tough players they have seen.

I've never liked the idea about automatic blocking fouls in the circle(obviously I love them when they go our way). I understand why they implemented it, but I would like to see more calls against the player that is absolutely out of control.

Like Scalabrine, a player can just drive in and have no where to go, but if there is one foot in the circle, there is absolutely no case. The worst is when players run in and turn their backs in mid-air, officials should really start looking at who's initiating contact.

well he couldnt exactly get out of the way but he needs to continue showing his toughness on the other end of the floor. i liked how he gave a shove to west after the incident with david wesley...

man, I was just telling a guy at the bar about how the blood in Yao's face leaped out and fouled Scalabrine's elbow.

because of this BS rule, a lot of players are going ass-first when they go for a layup, forcing the refs to send them to FT line.

That was the weakest I've got your back shove. Yao's lucky. Delonte would've opened a can on him.

If you call getting a bloody face determined, then just call me uncaring then. Yao needs to learn how to dish out bloody elbows instead of always receiving them. And by the way, JVG should fine him everytime he takes a charge.

haha. It was a weak shove....but .....just picture someone 1 foot and 2 inches shorter and 120 pounds lighter trying to open a can on you. haha. I don't know, yao is a nice guy, but he is also a 300 pound, 8% body fat, 7'6 athlete.

If you are 6 foot and 190 pounds, someone(4'10 and 100 pounds) wanted to open a can on you...yeah, you get the picture.

Yea, it wasnt no Ron Artest by any means, but at least he stood up for his boys. If it were anyone else in the leauge it wouldnt have been a tech., Im convinced now, the refs have it out for Yao.

How much did yao play after Yao beat up scalabrine's elbow with his head? I recorded the game but it stopped recording shortly after that incident. It didn't appear he played anymore since his stats pretty much stopped at that point.

Yao is always getting beat up. Does Mutombo beat him up in practice with his elbows that could kill an elephant? What about Mason squatting Yao to the floor the last time we played the Hornets? Yao has got to learn to defend himself before he gets his lights punched out like Rudy T did.

I'm sure mleahy999 knows all about opening a can on people and would, in fact, be the first to open a can on Yao at the next Rockets game. This will happen because mleahy is a tough guy who is not all talk. Nope.
