I have an Hakeem autographed basketball I'm entertaining the notion of selling. It's an official Spalding ball..signed in silver by Hakeem. I bought it at a fundraiser for the Waco Boys and Girls Club back in 1996. I have it in a clear plastic cube designed for displaying autographed basketballs. Looking at various websites that market these things, the price generally falls in the $250-$350 range. Anyone interested???
Do you have a certificate of Authenticity because that will definently effect the price the ball would sell for. Without one the price dramatically drops.
How much are you asking with out it having a COA? You might just want to hold on to it, the ball will be worth more to you than you will get for it..
no, i don't. and i don't have a digital camera. sounds like i'll be holding on to this. thanks for the information, guys.
no prob, I'd hold on to it.. You know it's real and that's all that matters.. Be lucky you have it, I've been looking for a legit one for many years now but I have yet to find one that I like..
I also have an autographed basketball that I won at a charity auction. It is signed by Olajuwon, Barkley and Drexler - no COA. Does anyone have any idea what it is worth? I'm sure it is worth more to me than it is on the market, but it's just good to know, ya know.
I'm just curious. I have a ball signed by Dream and Clyde right after the 1995 championship. And yes I have the COAs. Any ideas what it's worth?
This is BS, A COA proves nothing!!! Anyone can print one up. What matters is where the item came from. I would trust something that comes from a charity auction any day of the week, over something that comes from a shady company with a "COA".
I have an Hakeem autographed ball with a certificate of authenticity and a photo of him signing it...but it is not for sell.
I have an autographed Charles jones and Chucky brown basketball after a 95 playoffs game vs Suns. It is the ball that they both touched during the same play in the second half. Charles jones missed the free throw and Chucky came out of nowhere to rebound and save his @ss. Charles thanked Chucky, they both autographed the ball after the game and gave it to me. I will try to look for the certificate of authenticity which came with it, signed by Pete Chilcutt. Any idea how much it is worth? If I cant more than $0.50 for it, i might consider holding on to it. It should appreciate in value until another pair of scrubs turn out to be a difference maker on a championship team.
