I found out that the Houston Rockets are planning on launching a new website soon www.rocketball.com I am not positive what type of site it will be, all I was told that "it is for the fans" and that rockets.com is staying as is..... i'm going to try and find out more. I thought that Clutch may be particually interested in this especially if the rockets organization is going to use this new site to try and compete with clutchfans.
FINALLY!!!!!!!!!!!! A site dedicated to me! I apologize this is getting emotional, I'll be back later.........

Why are they so bent on stealing clutchfans web traffic??? Are the "classified" things that come out on here really that necesarry to try and sweep under the rug??? Bad decision, because in reality they will probably only split the web traffic rockets.com was getting in half. The hardcores will always stick to clutchfans.net.
I agree. They are splitting their traffic at a time when they don't need to do that. Yao and T-Mac are image enough to sell the team. They would be much better served to combine the fan stuff with rockets.com and bring in more traffic. If they combined the sites they could probably bring this place to its knees. There is no way clutchfans could compete even though it has a foothold right now. Seems like a good business move, but bad idea to split the sites.
The Power of Clutchfans has already been proven time and time again. NOBODY competes with us. 'Nough Said!!
Hmmm. Not sure where you heard that at. It's simply not true. We are focused on Rockets.com and in no way shape or form want to "compete" with ClutchFans.net. In fact we are really happy that ClutchFans.net is doing so well. The Registered domain of rocketball.com is our e-mail service. All Rockets employees e-mail addresses are something@rocketball.com and have been for some time. (if you look at the date the domain was created it's been there since 1997 "Record created on 08-Nov-1997." Just to be clear. We are not trying to compete or "steal traffic" from ClutchFans. We love this site... heck we love Clutch. He's a great guy. In the future if stuff like this comes up just ask. I will be more than happy to talk about stuff like this.
and who the hell are you junior? Do you eat Lunch at the Houston Center. I see a bunch of people with Rocket Badges that say Live It, and all that stuff.
Here's what I know for SURE - Rocketball is NOT trying to take away anything from CLUTCHFANS.NET. Actually, they're looking to work more closely with CLUTCHFANS from what I hear. Also, supposedly, there will be some interaction between CLUTCHFANS and ROCKETBALL that will be extremely beneficial to both sites and to the loyal fans of CLUTCHCITY. Trust me, they recognize the power of CC.net and will be rewarding that loyalty at a later date - not trying to divide it. What they're doing over there right now is a GREAT thing for CC.net - more details to come later. Also, details of a Rafer Alston situation, a possible trade to Atlanta for another player, and JVG's feeling toward one player in particular. I'll post that in a new thread later on!
