Need some advice from anybody that has an Ipod Video my cousin just brought one and I'm trying to figure it out for him:

I have no problem importing music files/ photos into the Ipod Video

My only problem is how do I import Video into the Ipod. I click on the Video on the left side on Itune and try to Add some .avi files from family videos but it doesnt work.

Also is it possible to add in some vcd movies? or would u have to convert it to MPEG first?

There's no real instruction on what videos files you can add on the manual but I'm just wondering ....... How do you add the video files?

    thanks alot

Yes, it has to be Mpeg-4 Video files. Type something like "IPod Mpeg 4 converter" into google, I am sure you will get a ton of sites that offer softwares that convert normal video files into Mpeg4s.

    Ok this isnt right ....

I just brought a Ipod mini also and was trying to set it up for someone and I plugged in the mini into the usb after I've installed the disc.

Now The screen is just blanket ... I mean I dont see anything or can't do anything to it. So I took the car charger and went to the car and plugged it in and same thing .... nothing!

    helpp!!

I'm gonna get a video Ipod for Christmas. How can I download R2K's video highlights into it? Is there a way to convert .avi files into MPEG-4?
