Its like they want to loose their fans. Either that, or they want to go for that number 1 pick. No point in watching the rockets for the rest of the season, or booing them. No changes are coming till next season.

Hopefully this will stop all the fire dom/casserly threads after each game. They're both fired -- McNar is just waiting until the end of the season.

You're partially correct. The problem is that Capers just isn't a good head coach. His game planning and decision making is beyond terrible. There isn't anything that Casserly can do about that. Casserly is definitely partially to blame with moves like the trade for Buchanon, the trade to draft Babin, Bennie Jopru, making no significant o-line acquisitions, keeping Corey Bradford and not finding an appropriate #2 WR, etc., etc.

i'm not defending Casserly, because i want him gone, as well. but capers had lots of input on draft day. this isn't casserly going into a room by himself and picking who he thinks is best.

Yes, but the GM's job is to make deals happen. Casserly traded the picks to get Babin (which he likely could have kept and grabbed Babin in the 2nd round), he traded Glenn and picks for Buchannon (a fleecing to the nth degree), he signed mediocore and below avg lineman and defensive guys to overblown contracts that cost us Sharper and Foreman. He also failed to make deals for offensive linemen that could have given us something. He's been pathetic as a GM, no defense.

again...i'm not defending casserly. but my understanding is Capers had HUGE input on that Babin decision, in particular. because he thought he was perfect for the 3-4. remember...it was Capers that was married to the 3-4.

i'm not saying let's keep casserly. he's made his share of mistakes. but capers isn't completely innocent when it comes to the selection of talent for this football team.

Capers can share blame with Babin (and other picks) being a bust. But Casserly overextending to get Babin lies squarely on his own shoulders.

    You can't be serious?

In all fairness, Casserly did not injure his groin, nor tear his ACL. He selected Jopru, because he was a strong TE with excellent hands, and great blocking skills. Whether Jopru actually proves that next season remains to be seen.
